Math Activities
1.Religious Activities: Daily worship and Special worship of Holy Trio & others are performed. After evening Vesper Service discourses on Srimad Bhagavatam, Sri Sri Ramayana, Srimad Bhagavat Gita, Life of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda, Sister Nivedita etc. are arranged regularly. Sri Sri Ramanama Sankirtanam is arranged on every Ekadashi day. Math celebrates Janma-Tithi-Puja of Holy Trio, Direct Disciples and other Great Spiritual Teachers.
On 12 January – Swami Vivekananda’s Birth Day – National Youth Day – A colourful 1 km long procession is arranged comprising with Students of our Hostel, and different other schools with Band Party etc. Hymns and Songs are sung by Students and devotees on Swamiji. Decorated Photos of Swamiji, Subhashitam, are attractive part of this procession which covers nearly 4 to 5 km taking round of the Coochbehar Town.
We arrange Mantradiksha for sincere seekers of God when Revered President Maharaj or Vice-President Maharaj visit the math. Spiritual retreats for devotees are arranged in regular intervals.
2.Educational activities: Math conduct Various educational activities like a) Students home, b) Vocational Training, c) Free Coaching Centre, d) Value Education programme etc.
a) Students Home: Only secondary standard students (6th to 10th) can get entry to stay here. Math emphasises Character Building of students in the ideal of Holy Trio. Regular coaching classes by efficient teachers are also arranged for them. Students have the opportunity to participate in the extracurricular activities like Sports, Music, Computer training etc. Boarding Charges per year (2021): 36,000/- plus Tuition Fees extra.
b) Vocational Training: Two tailoring units are functioning for backward poor women, one unit with 50 women run by Math in the campus including one unit at Madhu tea garden, a tribal area. Certificate is given after completion of Training.
Computer Training: Besides our hostel students – local boys and girls can avail one year Computer Training Course. They get Certificate after completion of the course.
c) Free coaching Centre: The Math runs one-unit free coaching classes, namely Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa (GAP) with 50 students for 1 to 6 standards, and one-unit free coaching classes namely Vivekananda Abhyudaya Prakalpa (VAP) with 40 students for 7 to 10 standards. Qualified teachers guide them in their study as well as give them moral education. Nutritious food and Toiletry items are distributed regularly among them, as a part of the system. Health Check-up facility also provided to them. Students participate in sports and cultural program of the Math.
d) Value Education programme: 1. Youth Development Programme: The Math arranges Personality development classes in the nearby educational institutions. Messages of Swami Vivekananda on man making and character building are discussed there.
2. Vivekananda Study Circle: A weekly study circle for Youth is organised in the Math campus to guide them to become enlightened citizen as per Ideal of Swami Vivekananda. Currently, in the covid-19 pandemic situation, it is being conducted online from 4pm to 4.30 pm.
3. Youth Programme: We arrange various youth related programmes like Convention, Debate and Recitation regular intervals.
Vivekananda Library: A public library is there in the Math Campus with different Religious, Classical, Reference-books and Monthly Magazines.

Book stall: There is a book stall for sale of Ramakrishna-Vivekananda-Vedanta literature and Religious Articles in the Math premises.
Health Service (Dispensary): Through Allopathic and Homeopathic medicines free treatment is offered in the Math dispensary.
Relief & welfare Activities: Math undertake relief work during any kind of natural disaster. Every year distribution of blanket, winter garments and clothes are distributed to the poor. Needy and meritorious students receive text books, exercise books, instrument box and also pecuniary help from Math.
Festivals: Sri Sri Durgapuja, Sri Sri Kalipuja, Sri Sri Saraswatipuja, Shivaratri, Birth Anniversaries of Bhagawan Sri Ramakrishna Deva, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda and a-Three-Day long Annual Celebration is Organised in the Math Campus.
